Our Newest Adventure

As most of you know (some of you may not) Mike and I found out we will be expecting a new little addition to our home in October. We are so excited for the opportunity to be parents in just a few short months. I have at times had feelings of reluctance since I have been pregnant, wondering if I am really ready, but I think that is why Heavenly Father arranged the whole 9 months thing the way he did. To give you time to prepare after you have decided to take the plunge into parenthood, I think of it kinda like an engagement period before you get married, you have time to familiarize your self with the idea and get prepared. We have already started collecting diapers. I have found some amazing deals from http://www.diapers.com/mydiapers.aspx, diapers on a good sale for about .10 cents a piece which if your a parent or have bought diapers before you know that is a WAY good deal. I am so excited to start buying baby clothes though! but of course we should wait till we find out what were having. I have initially always wanted a little girl first, but honestly I would be just as happy with a happy little boy to. Mike's only preference is revolved around the fact we have NO boy names picked out and we have multiple girl names picked.
But as for me I have been feeling so tired from what felt like the time we conceived (thanks to pneumonia and week in bed) until about a week ago. I had not cooked, cleaned, grocery shopped, or had a care to if it got done, in addition I would got to bed about 9:30 every night giving me over 9 hours of sleep. But now that that has passed it appears as if "morning sickness" has taken its place. It strikes at any moment and anything is a trigger, but it is worst when I get out of bed in the morning and when ever it has been a couple hours since I ate somethin
g. I can no longer open our refrigerator for the medley of smells that comes out is so atrocious that i can barely stand it! Raw meat is a NO GO, as well as dirty dishes. But there are things that find me comfort, I can't seem to get enough Sensuous Sandwich's, which Mike unfortunately now groans at any suggestion of it, but he most of the time takes me anyway! I also love strawberries dipped in Nutella chocolate spread, Cotton Candy and McDonalds Chicken Nuggets! I have started to show a little bit but i have been in Maternity pants for weeks because regular pants puts a pressure on my tummy that is UNBEARABLE!
But other than that Mike is going to be graduating at the end of the Semester which his AS in Drafting Technology. The University took away the bachelors program for drafting and he hasn't found a BS that he would like to try for yet. He may go back to school in a couple of years when he decides what Bachelors he wants but for now he will get a "Big Kid" job and start his career. Mike will do one more summer with Linx Satellite selling Dish and Direct before he enters the job market though.
We also bought our first home in December, which took us to Spanish Fork. We like our cute little 2 story town house and being able to paint walls or plant flowers or grass and not have to worry about reporting to someone for approval! We have plenty of space for when the baby comes and maybe even another kid after that.
But life has been good to us, we are so happy and can't imagine what joy this little baby is going to bring! Thanks everyone for your love and support, we miss you and think of you often!
